How do I start or stop the sale?

Modified on Tue, 16 Apr 2024 at 04:39 PM

This article explains how to start or stop ticket sales. There are three different options for this.

1. Put ticket types on sale

With the first option to start the sale, the tickets must be put on sale individually. This can be done under the heading 'Ticket categories'. There is a button for each ticket type that has been created. When this button is enabled, it turns blue and the tickets are for sale.

NB! When adjustments are made to the ticket types, or they are put on or taken off sale, it is important to click on the blue 'safe' button at the bottom left of the screen. Otherwise, any adjustments you have made will be lost.

This image is an example and shows that the first 2 ticket types are currently on sale, and the third ticket type is not yet available.

For example, you can also choose to put certain ticket types on sale later.

2. Set a date

The second option is to set a day per ticket type for when that ticket type will go on sale, and when the sale of that ticket type will close. This can be done in the additional settings of a ticket type: Settings of the ticket types, under the heading 'Sales'.

Sales start

When you enable this button, you can set a start date for the sale of this particular ticket type. This start date is therefore independent of the general sales start.

Sales end

By turning this button on, you can set a sales end date for this particular ticket type. This is therefore also independent of the general end time of the sale.

Sales

As a third option, the start and end date of the sale can be adjusted in the sales heading, which can be found in the second column from the left.

The dates can then be adjusted here.

NB! Once a ticket has been sold, it is no longer possible to adjust these times.
