Create and send unique discount codes

It is possible to load a list of email addresses and send discount codes to it. These discount codes can be generated by the platform or created yourself.

Follow these steps to do this:

• Go to 'Discounts'
• Go to the 'Series' tab
• Create a code series with one code, and set all settings as desired (see: How do I add a discount code?)
• Create a CSV (or use the template at the bottom of this page) with the following fields on the first line:
  • couponSeriesId = the code of the series just created (can be found by opening the series and copying the code to the right of 'Active'); this code is the same for every line in the CSV
  • code = if desired, codes can be supplied here yourself; if this is left empty, the platform will create codes itself
  • customerEmail = if desired, codes can be linked to certain customers, this can also be left empty
  • inviteEmail = when email addresses are entered here, these people will receive an email with the discount code and a link to the ticket shop
• Only the 'couponSeriesId' is required
• The desired information can be added to the following lines

After the CSV has been created, it can be loaded as follows:

• Go to 'Discounts'
• Click on 'Import'
• Give your import a name and select the CSV file
• Choose 'Series promo code'
• Check whether the correct columns are linked. If you do not want to use certain columns, you can leave them empty.
• Click on 'Import'
