How do I create a secret shop?

This article describes how a secret shop can be created, for example, a secret shop can be useful to allow certain customer segments to buy tickets at a different location.

An additional ticket shop can be created under the tab: 'Secret Shops'. Then click on the 'Add secret shop' button.

General

Here you can enter the name and a description for this secret shop.

Sales

Here you can enter the start and end date/time for the sale of the tickets, and the maximum number of tickets can also be entered.

Inventory Strategy then offers a choice whether the number of tickets depends on the maximum ticket number of the general ticket shop or whether this is separate. The choices:

Independent - This means that your ticket will sell regardless of the maximum quantity of tickets                                 indicated in the general ticket shop

Capped by event - The quantity of tickets sold in this shop then depends on the quantity of tickets                                     that may be sold in the general ticket shop.

Afterwards, a minimum and maximum number of tickets per order can also be determined.

Reservations

There are various options for reserving a ticket in a secret shop.

No reservation - People cannot reserve a ticket and have to pay immediately.

Allow reservation & payment - People can choose whether to reserve a ticket or pay immediately.

 Only enable reservations - It is only possible to reserve tickets.
