This article provides a manual that volunteers can use to set up and scan tickets.
How do I set up the scanner?
Below is a step-by-step plan on what still needs to be done before scanning.
- You turn on the scanner using the bottom button on the right side of the scanner. The scanner can then be unlocked by swiping up on the screen.
- Then click on the Vivenu event manager app. The screen on the right will then appear.
- Then click on the gear at the top right of the screen.
- Click on the event for which you want to scan the tickets. And then click on the ticket types that you want to scan.
- Then you can go back to the arrows and you are ready to start scanning.
NB! If no event is selected, tickets cannot be scanned.
How do I scan tickets?
- You turn on the scanner using the bottom button on the right side of the scanner. The scanner can then be unlocked by swiping up on the screen.
- Then click on the Vivenu event manager app. The screen shown here will then appear.
- Point the scanner at the QR code you want to scan.
- When the code has been scanned you will hear a sound, below you can read what the screen then indicates.
I am scanning, what do I see now?
There are 4 different colors that can be shown on the screen after scanning a ticket, they are explained below:
Green – The ticket is valid
Orange – The ticket is valid, but already scanned
Red – The ticket is not valid for this event, or is not activated in the setup.
Blue – Ticket has been scanned out.
