Pick a Seat
In the "Pick a Seat" case the application will visualize a seat plan in which the ticket buyer can select his tickets.
The selection of the seat category will highlight the related area within the seat plan. Once they have clicked on "Select category", they get to a page where they can choose their ticket type.
Best Available Seat
This algorithm functions in 2 modes:
- With a focal point: Distance to the focal point is the main scoring driver. Placing seats together, closing gaps and seat ranking have a notable effect on the scoring of the placement. You can add a focal point when creating your seating plan in the plan creator.
- Without a focal point: Snake ranking. The BAS algorithm will follow an incremental path of rankings.
