How to send out tickets that are not free

If you want to send out tickets with a certain value without the ticket buyer paying for it (again), you can follow the steps below. This may be necessary, for example, when a ticket buyer has paid for a specific ticket type, but actually wants a different ticket type with the same value. For example: buying a Friday ticket, but actually wanting a Saturday ticket (this is only possible if the price of the ticket is the same)

Sending out tickets ensures that the visitor does not receive a payment request and that he immediately receives a ticket.  


There are a few things to keep in mind:

  • If the tickets to which the payment is linked need to be invalidated, please contact customer service at cs@twelveticketing.eu. Customer service can ensure that the old tickets are invalidated.
  • When you send out tickets with a certain value without making a payment, it will administratively appear as if that amount had been paid. There will therefore be a difference betweet the amount paid according to the ticket report and the actual amount that is deposited into the account.

Follow the steps below to send tickets with a value WITHOUT payment:

1. Go to operator.twelveticketing.eu

2. Go to 'Purchase' --> 'Buy tickets' (home page)

3. Click on the event you want to send a ticket for.

4. Click on the number of tickets you want to send.



5. Click 'Next'. 


6. Choose an existing user account where you want to send the tickets to, or fill in first name/last name/email on the left and click on create. When you create a new user account, a 'Language' must also be enetere in the pop-up that appears. This in the language in which the mailing will be sent. 



7. In the screen 'Payment and delivery':



  • Go to 'Payment' and select a payment method for the order. Choose for the option 'No payment needed'. If this option is not there, you can create a new payment method in manager.twelveticketing.eu. 



  • Move the slider with 'Unconfirmed' to 'Confirmed'.
  • Tick the 'Send tickets' box, the tickets will be sent when you complete the order.
  • Click 'Finish purchase' to finalise the order and sent the tickets.
