What you need:
- Facebook pixel ID (can be found in business manager under events manager https://business.facebook.com/events_manager2/overview)
- AdSamurai API code (go to https://www.adsmurai.com/en/product/serverless-tracking and create an account)
- Google Tagmanager set-up
- Twelve Ticketing CAPI json file (find the download link below)
How to implement Facebook Conversions API through Google Tag Manager using Adsmurai:
- In Google Tag Manager go to Admin Tab
- In the right container tab go to 'Import Container'
- Select the Twelve Ticketing CAPI json file
- Select your existing live workspace
- Click on merge followed by 'Overwrite conflicting tags, triggers and variables.'
- After importing the container go to 'Variables'
- Under 'User-defined Variables' select PIXEL ID Variable
- Paste your Facebook pixel ID and click 'save'
- Under 'User-defined Variables' select Adsmurai API Variable
- Paste the API code you received from Adsmurai
- Make sure to pause or delete all your other existing Facebook Tags to prevent duplicate tracking
- Publish the container
