There are several ways to send out tickets. You can send out a free ticket, you can invite a number of guests with the guest list tool or you can resend paid tickets.

With this method, the recipient receives the free ticket in his/her email immediately. The recipient does not have to do anything else.
This can be necessary when a ticket buyer has paid for a specific ticket type, but actually wants another ticket type with the same value.
With this, the attendee receives an email with an invitation to the event. The attendee can then choose to accept or decline the invitation. Only when the invitation is accepted, a ticket is sent.
The recipient receives an email with the request to pay for the tickets that have been reserved for him/her. As soon as payment has been made, the ticket buyer will receive an email with the tickets. So you can make an order with a combination of different tickets for a specific recipient.
You can use this option if a ticket buyer has lost his or her ticket. You then look up the tickets and re-send them.
