How do I send out free tickets?

If you have not created a free ticket type yet, you can go through the following steps: 

First create a free ticket:

  1. Go to the 'Event' for which you want to send a free ticket.
  2. Go to 'Tickets'.
  3. Click 'New ticket'.
  4. Give it a name, turn on 'on sale', and add it ONLY to sales channel 'Boxoffice' (so NOT to 'Online'). You can do this by choosing 'Customise' at the bottom of the tickettype setup and removing the 'Online' sales channel (trash icon). 
  5. If your event has time slots, make sure you activate time slots when creating the new free ticket by choosing 'Only with a time slot'.

If you have already created a free ticket, you can send it out in 
this way.

  • Go to 

1. Go to 'Purchase' --> 'Buy tickets' (start page)

2. Click on the event you want to send tickets for

3. Click on the number of free tickets you want to send and click 'Next'.

4. Choose an existing user account where you want to send the tickets to, or fill in first name/last name/email links and click Create.

5. In the screen 'Payment and delivery':

  • Select 'payment not required'.
  • Move the slider with 'Unconfirmed' to 'Confirmed'.
  • Tick the 'Send ticket(s)' slider
  • Click 'Finish purchase' to finalise the reservation.
